The ALUCAT W16 workboat is designed especially for professional operations. Released in 2024, it represents the latest generation of ALUCAT design: stable, spacious, efficient and safe to use in all conditions. The W16 is already in use by rescue teams, public authorities and operators who need a vessel that performs day after day.
The boat offers approximately 16 m² of usable flat deck space, excellent lateral stability, and low draft for shallow water access. With a beam of 2.5 meters and a load capacity of around 1300 kg, the W16 handles equipment, crew and heavy-duty work without compromise. It is available with fuel tanks of 2 x 120 litres or optional 2 x 170 litres for longer operations.
Currently, the W16 is available in three model variations: DCTOP, CABIN 4 and CABIN 6 PROfessionals. All W16 models are customizable after your needs.
W16 DCTOP – Practical Space for Professional Use
The DCTOP model is a compact two-person shelter providing excellent visibility and protection from the wind in front. It has quickly become a popular version among rescue teams and public safety operator. You can change the shelter into a cabin using our weatherproof tarps.
Combined with the W16’s low draft of just 0.45 meters and excellent handling in tight spaces, this version supports fast and responsive operations in shallow or crowded areas.
W16 CABIN 4 – A Favourite for Rescue and Patrol
The CABIN 4 version of the W16 provides a fully enclosed cabin for four people. It is currently the most compact available W16 model and offers protection from the elements while maintaining an open and functional deck layout.
This configuration is ideal for transport, inspection, logistics or technical support tasks where space, coverage and stability are equally important. The front ramp, 1.4 metres wide, enables easy boarding and cargo handling. With space for crew and equipment, the W16 CABIN 4 is an efficient choice for operators working in varying conditions.
W16 CABIN 6 – Extended Use with Room to Rest
W16 CABIN 6 is the largest and most fully equipped version of the model. The spacious cabin includes seating and layout options suitable for extended missions or even overnight stays. It’s designed for operators who need to remain on site longer, carry more equipment, or work in all seasons.
People often select this model for environmental monitoring, offshore work, or logistics support in areas requiring both performance and comfort. The W16 CABIN 6 transforms the boat into a highly functional floating workspace, offering extensive customization options for the cabin’s interior, including tables, bunks, and heating.
