Test day for Arctia’s W35 🚤

Earlier this week, we put Arctia’s new W35, the most powerful vessel we have built so far, through extensive trials at Lake Näsijärvi.

Our testing covered multiple driving conditions, both with and without heavy loads, to ensure peak performance. We also ran detailed crane tests with different weights to guarantee safe and efficient operations.

At ALUCAT, every boat is tested rigorously before delivery so our customers receive a vessel that performs flawlessly in all conditions.

Next in our professional vessel series is W35 CAB8, a modified version.

Built to carry heavy loads, this boat features a large open deck that can fit significant cargo. This vessel also includes loading ramps, a custom feature requested to make vehicle loading faster and more efficient.

Customer wanted a fully customized cabin, including chairs of their choosing, side doors instead of our regular cabin8 model doors, and a small rest area on the back.

This week our professional boat series shifts focus to service and logistics vessels.

Our first highlight is the W23 CAB8, delivered to the Dalsland Canal in Sweden. With a spacious 35 m² deck, this workboat can carry large loads or even vehicles such as ATVs and cars. The open deck layout ensures smooth and obstacle-free logistics, while two remote-controlled cranes make cargo handling efficient. The roomy cabin provides excellent shelter and comfort for the crew, making this model a true multipurpose solution for canal maintenance.
