This week, our team has been honored to participate in the TYRSKY25 exercise, organized by the Finnish Air Force and hosted by the Satakunta Air Command. The exercise takes place across Pirkanmaa’s lakes and land areas and concludes on Friday, October 24th.

TYRSKY25 brings together multiple authorities—including the Air Force Academy, 3rd Logistics Regiment, Pirkanmaa Rescue Department, Police of Inner Finland, Border Guard, Emergency Medical Services, Lake Rescue teams, and Fintraffic ARCC—to strengthen collaboration in complex emergency scenarios.
From our side, we’ve provided two vessels to support the exercise:
The Alucat W16, currently in testing, features joystick steering and is used by commanders for coordination and mobility.
The Alucat W10, already in operational use, serves as the Air Force’s designated rescue boat.

The exercise includes terrain searches, water rescue drills, and maintaining operational capability at accident sites. It also focuses on improving multi-agency response during disruptions in normal conditions.
We’re proud to see our vessels contribute to real-world readiness and inter-agency cooperation.
