This week, our professional boat series focuses on maintenance and logistics boats tailored for demanding work conditions. The models we are showcasing this week are two W35s, designed for heavy logistics and maintenance duties. While the models are the same, the purpose for each boat is unique and is engineered after our customers’ specific requests and needs.
W35 for maintenance duties
Our first highlight is W35 CAB8, delivered to Dalsland Canal in Sweden. This workboat features a spacious 35 m² deck, designed to accommodate large loads and maintenance vehicles, such as ATVs. Accessible, open deck without thresholds ensures smooth, obstacle-free logistics while two remote-controlled cranes make cargo handling easy and efficient. The customer also requested a spacious and comfortable cabin tailored for year-round use. The customer also wanted large storage spaces on deck for maintenance tools and other equipment.
W35 for logistics
Next is another W35 CAB8 for Dåg Sedin, which is specified for carrying heavy cargo and vehicles. This workboat also features a large open and accessible deck for easy cargo handling. This boat is custom-built to include loading ramps for efficient vehicle loading, as customer often takes a car and other maintenance vehicles with them to the archipelago. The cabin is designed for long shifts, including a rest area.
Same model, unique purpose
